About
I’m Andrew — I partner with startups & early-stage teams to move from idea to launch without losing speed or quality.
I’m a Product Designer with 15+ years combined experience in design, development, & product building. I spent most of my career in Singapore's startup scene & more recently served US startups working remotely from the Philippines.
As a product designer who moves fluidly between strategy, design, and code, I help founders cut through noise to clarify what to build, prototype ideas in days, collaborate directly with engineers to ship fast, and establish design practices that scale as the team grows.
I spent most of my career working in full-time product and engineering roles at venture-backed startups. I started as a frontend engineer at Viki prior to its acquisition by Rakuten, became the first designer at Saleswhale (Y Combinator S16, later acquired by 6sense), and later joined Taskade (YC S19) as a product designer.
Most recently, I was a full-time product designer at Emotive, where I led onboarding and billing redesigns, improved lead capture by 25% through SMS automation, and supported the company through its acquisition by Privy in mid-2025.
Today, I run an independent design practice through Make Shiftr, partnering with early-stage and growth-stage teams on product strategy, design systems, and execution.
